刘汉中博士，壳牌国际勘探开发公司采油工艺认真人，德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校石油工程系采油工程客座教授，提高采收率、防沙和智能井领域专家，曾任多种SPE杂志的编委和主编，揭晓了四十多篇手艺专著，拥有多项采油工艺方面的专利。结业于加州理工学院和普林斯顿大学，获得化学工程专业的学士和博士学位。自1981年加入壳牌，他从事了石油工程的各个方面事情包括研发、新手艺、生产开发、培训和人才招聘。

Dr. Hon-Chung Lau is the Discipline Lead of Production Technology for the Americas in Shell E&P Inc. responsible for technical assurance of major projects. Since joining Shell in 1981, Dr. Lau has worked in research and development, technology deployment, operations, deepwater project delivery, training and recruiting. He is also the subject matter expert in enhanced oil recovery, intelligent wells and sand control. Dr. Lau has published over forty technical publications and patents. He is a licensed petroleum engineer in Texas and technical editor of several Society of Petroleum Engineering journals. Dr. Lau received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in chemical engineering from California Institute of Technology and Princeton University, respectively.
